Joel Overall is an Associate Professor of English at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he teaches courses in writing, digital rhetoric, and sound and persuasion. As an undergraduate student, he majored in Music, Journalism, and Marketing, but his interests in writing propelled him into graduate work in Composition and Rhetoric. These diverse subjects continue to inform his teaching and scholarship. His work has appeared in Rhetoric Society Quarterly and Rhetoric Review.
